Sophia Floyd has enjoyed careers as a horse trainer, hand therapist, volunteer program coordinator, and proud mother of three. She was born and raised in Colorado to a wildlife biologist father and a successful watercolor artist mother. The inevitable outcome has been Sophia’s interest in landscape photography.

Sophia enjoys traveling and has devoted much of her photography to that endeavor. Her reverence for the environment is also at the forefront of her photography, and with this attitude she hopes to inspire admiration in others.

It is in this vein that all photographs sold through Sophia Floyd Photography will have 50% of the net profits donated to the Nature Conservancy – a fabulous organization dedicated to preserving pristine land all over the world, for wildlife, heath of the environment, and for future generations to enjoy.
